Certificate Programs
APICS Certificate Programs
Training new hires and upskilling employees is key to improving performance and streamlining operations.
These certifications are a hybrid of online learning and live instructional sessions giving participants access to networking opportunities and coaching from an APICS certified instructor. Each certification is scheduled for 4 weeks in length with two (2) cohort live learning sessions for one (1) hour in the middle and end of the course. At the end of the certificate program content participants that pass the certificate program exam will receive special recognition from ASCM for their accomplishment.
These programs are ideal for organizations want to supplement their on-the-job training programs for new or existing employee groups. To discuss how these certificates can benefit you or your organization please reach out to us at [email protected]. Group discounts are available.
Certificate Program vs. Certification Credential
The Planning, Purchasing, Technology, and Warehouse Certificates are part of the APICS Certificate Program. What distinguishes a certificate program from a certification program is the focus on mastery of the content taught throughout the course. Certificate Programs guide a learner through concepts and have an exit exam to test understanding of the material covered. Whereas, Certification Programs such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), have a proctored exam testing for mastery of the concepts taught in the certification exam preparation course. Often certifications require prior experience or other credentials to be eligible to sit for the certification exam.
